ABOUT THE GARDEN

Noosa Community Garden is a quiet and beautiful space where a sustainable
communal garden has been established. This gardening community is creating a focus for the area, a sense of place. The garden is an opportunity to learn with like-minded gardeners who socialise and enjoy a sense of achievement from growing and eating their own food.

It brings people together to connect with the earth in an open, friendly setting and share their gardening passion, knowledge and skills. Organic herbs, vegetables, and fruit are grown and the weekly harvest is shared amongst the gardeners.

The goal of the garden is to inspire and assist in the further growth of sustainable gardening in the local community. On Friday mornings the gardeners work in the garden and have regular workshops to share information and ideas and plan the weekly tasks. They also enjoy a social catchup and a delicious morning tea with homemade cake.
