The very first of these monthly events, Slow Food Noosa will be hosted by Pomona Village Kitchen for it's inaugural Foodie Dinner Date.

This will be an opportunity to meet the people behind the incredible produce that goes into our menus, and to get a taste of the dishes that PVK offers, with locally sourced, low mileage and organic ingredients.

Our menu will have one entré and one main per person, with gluten free and entirely plant based options included.

Let's welcome Spring and our first Slow Food Noosa outing with a magnificent 2 course luncheon at VIEW by Matt Golinski.

It's time to shake off the winter lock down and enjoy the best seasonal ingredients our area has to offer.

We've lined up a fabulous afternoon with stories from some of our regional food producers and restaurants about their COVID-19 experiences as well as what’s been happening with our new Schools’ Kitchen Garden program.

Plus you can help celebrate as we present our newest awardees with their Snail of Approval certificates.

Join us for a fabulous 2 course lunch for an end of the week wind down with views over our wonderful Laguna Bay.

On Friday May 15th many of us would have been enjoying the absolute best of what the magnificent Sunshine Coast chefs and producers have to offer at the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival.

Noosa Eat & Drink may have been cancelled but we can still come together to celebrate – virtually!

Slow Food Noosa have created the ‘Isolation White Party’ special event on Friday May 15th to celebrate our local Chefs & Producers.

Twelve outstanding restaurants have created takeaway menus for you to enjoy in Lockdown, including:

We will meet via Zoom at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start, the evening will feature interviews with local chefs & each ‘dinner party’ will have the opportunity to share where their food is from & what they are eating.

What a great opportunity to dress up, set up your best dinner table again and have fun.

We welcome Trish Davison, the creator of Burma in Ya Belly’s award-winning range of Burmese condiments made from 100% local ingredients as our Autumn Breakfast guest speaker.

Burmese food is on the brink of bringing a new dimension to Australia’s obsession with Asian food and Trish will focus on 'Creating a Taste' while sharing her journey toward leading the way for the future of contemporary Asian food in Australia.

Trish will share how she uses Mooloolaba green prawns, cures and dries them to create a prawn floss and uses 100% Australian garlic and 100% Australian grown chilli in all of her products.

Trish received her first Slow Food Noosa Snail of Approval in 2019 for the nationally awarded condiments from her other business The Bear and the Ladle, and along with Burma in Ya Belly, she is the first Snail of Approval recipient to be awarded twice!

Following Trish's insightful journey, enjoy a magnificent smorgasbord breakfast with a view over Lagoona Bay at View by Matt Golinski at Noosa Pepper's Resort & Villas.
