Paris Can Wait – film synopsis
Eleanor Coppola is no stranger to filmaking (she is married to five-time Oscar winner Francis Ford Coppola and mother to Oscar-winner Sofia), however at 81-years-young, she became a first-time feature film writer and director with Paris Can Wait.  Starring Diane Lane as Anne, the wife of an inattentive movie producer (Alec Baldwin), who unexpectedly finds herself taking a car trip from Cannes to Paris with her husband’s business associate Jacques Clement (Arnaud Viard). What should be a seven-hour drive turns into a carefree two-day adventure full of fine food and wine, humour, wisdom, picturesque sights and a little flirtation that reawakes Anne’s senses and gives her a new lust for life.
