Angie Andrews is the author of seven books,  including her latest book “Cookin’ for Cures” which features recipes using the Aloe Vera plant.  Angie aims to help people understand how they can use this backyard wonder to gain great health.

‘Cookin’ for Cures’ demonstrates how to use Aloe vera to achieve better health – and relief from chronic symptoms. Angie has witnessed healing with cold sores, shingles, eczema, prostrate cancer, lymph gland cancer, liver cancer, skin cancer, kidney disease, stomach ulcers, aching joints and arthritis.   Aloe Vera can balance sugar levels in diabetes type one and two. You can read many impressive testimonials in the book from people who have been very ill and are now 100% healthy.
Many doctors recommend her books to their patients, encouraging involvement in their own health outcomes – especially with diseases that are hard to treat like arthritis and diabetes, which in turn is empowering for the patient.
Australian and American researchers discovered when herbs are added to raw veggies the vitamin intake is increased by double. So if you’re not feeling well, eating lots of salads with fresh herbs and Aloe Vera in the dressing will assist your immune system to function at its best, thereby speeding up the healing process.

Personally signed copies of ‘Cookin for Cures’ will be available on the day at a special price for Slow Food Noosa attendees.
