2011: Slow Pig Project
In February this year Slow Food Noosa was proud to announce that it had bought a fine young pig from a local farmer, near Gympie. Our pig is one of 6 siblings. The pigs are fed on a diet of sprouted grain, as well as table scraps, and they have picturesque rolling green pastures to roam around on.
