2011: Salone del Gusto Breakfast, 28 April
Greg Stine, Slow Food Noosa committee member, will talk about his recent trip to Salone del Gusto/ Terra Madre 2010 in Turin, Italy.
The Salone del Gusto, Terra Madre convention is held once every two years in Turin, Italy. More than 200,000 visitors attended 2010 Salone del Gusto, and 161 countries were represented at 2010 Terra Madre.
There were over 900 food exhibitors at Salone del Gusto and Greg will display slides of some of them. There are also many workshops and dinners, a few of which Greg attended.
The Terra Madre sessions, where delegates from around the world discuss many of the important issues in the Slow Foodmovement, will also be discussed by Greg.
The Salone del Gusto, Terra Madre convention in Italy is the pinnacle event for Slow Food supporters. We hope you can attend our breakfast and receive a description of what occurs and perhaps entice you to plan a trip some day to attend the event in Italy.
Bookings are essential for catering purposes; to avoid disappointment book no later than Tuesday 26th April by midday. Because we have to pay the restaurant for all bookings, we would ask that you ring and give Blue Ginger at least 24 hours if you do not intend to come.
